Lets find the pregnancy-related myths and truths:

Advice is one good thing that you can get it from everyone for free of cost. And of course to the women when she is pregnant, there are advices pouring to her hears. Don’t do this, do this, Do exercise, take healthy food, drink milk etc etc etc…. when the advice is given to you and if it is good, then you can take it and if it of total myths, then that’s the last thing you need at that time.
Here are the True facts, where you can believe them and take to your daily foods.


Beetroot- If you have anaemia:
This is absolutely True. Beetroot is rich in Iron, fibre, sugar and water; so take it regularly in your food. It contains good sources of iron, such as figs, raisins, watermelon, green leafy vegetables, dry fruits.

Eating Sugar too much during pregnancy will make your baby hyperactive:
Eating lot of sugar during pregnancy will make you obese. It may lead to gestational diabetes, which can be harmful to you and the child.

Citrus Fruits aggravate acidity:
Many womens face acidity problems due to consumption of citrus fruits. Don’t take them if you have a acidity problem. However if you don’t have acidity problem, you can take them, since it is rich is vitamin c and it is recommended during pregnancy.

Micro oven foods are harmful to the baby:
Experts say that, there is no harmness or affect the foetus.

Papaya can cause you Abortion:

There is no scientific evidence attached to it that, if you eat Papaya it’ll aid bowel movement will create impression that it will carry the foetus down, etc. Infact it is good in countering constipation.

Ghee and Butter to enable the baby to ‘Slip out’ easily. A spoon of ghee every day will ease your delivery:

Ghee and Butter are fattening and are allowed in this civilized world, but anything that is taken very high will affect your health and make you gain over weight. Pregnant women who are overweight have higher complications and a difficult labour. In order to get a healthy baby up yourself or fatten , you intake more Ghee and Butter with your food. Don’t do it at all. There are other ways like good morning exercise which will prove helpful during labour.
